Lou’s heart is to communicate the love of God through song. Her desire is to express truth, feed the church and bring revelation of God through her singing and songwriting.
She has been the lead singer of Phatfish for the last 15 years as well as a successful session singer, featuring on many worship albums. In addition, she regularly leads worship in church and conference settings and often appears on the BBC’s Songs of Praise.
Her first solo album Treasure was released in 2006 and is immensely popular, becoming the year’s best-selling album through Cross Rhythms. The radio single Hard Pressed has become a firm favourite with many and other tracks like O God of Love and Sing to the Lord are regularly sung by congregations throughout the UK.
Her most recent release, Promised Land, has been a fantastic follow up, being awarded CBC Worship Album of the year for 2008. Like Treasure, Promised Land features superb production and musicianship, coupled with Lou’s exceptional delivery of songs that will both inspire and challenge.
Lou is married to Nathan Fellingham, and they have two small children. They live in Brighton, UK and are active members of their local church CCK.
